6:25pm
Hey y'all.
I'm sitting at the table here in my kitchen.
I would estimate how many posts I have to publish to this wonderful blog you're reading..... But I haven't even the foggiest idea.
Sad, huh?
I have so much I want to touch on, as I usually do.... (Sorry 'bout that...)
Several things have been weighing heavily on my soul, especially today, though thanks to my father I haven't had a peaceful moment in which I could gather all the things I wish to say together so I might start compiling them for you all to read...
I've had my headphones on for 10 minutes and haven't started playing anything...
This is becoming too common in my life..... I fear my mind is so overfilled until I can't even use my automatic motor skills correctly.
Sadness.
Okay, here's some of what I have hunted down and captured while chasing my fleeing thoughts.
By the way, I have a horrid migraine.
Dear god.
I just clicked play to listen to The Civil Wars singing Barton Hollow.... Only to realize I didn't plug in my headphones....
Yeesh.
I've just now started seeing the uproar that is the up and coming US presidential elections....
This saddens me.
I've had several people ask me who I'm siding with and will vote for.
Now, this is a term I've created MYSELF and its original so don't STEAL IT WITHOUT TELLING ME, K???
Ahem.... But, usually when asked something about certain aspects of life, I will respond with these "wise" words;
When it comes to Politics, Religion, or Sports, I am firmly Non-Denominational.
This is mainly true.
Just as my preferences on just about every other piece of life we human beings like to side with, I feel no need to judge any part of another's beliefs and any other.... Anything, that is apart of their everyday life.
Period.
No exceptions.
Now, that being said, I am a hypocrite.
We all are, in, at least, one way or another.
That doesn't mean I am bothered by another person way of life, oh no, on the contrary.
I don't understand everything in this world.
Not every culture makes perfect sense to me.
Does that mean that these said cultures are flawed just because I don't quite get the full picture?
Hell. To. The. No.
I have no one belief on anything, if we're being honest.
I simply... OH MY DAMNNNN!!!
I just caught a whiff of a freshly deposited "Jack Turd".
God almighty and a shitzu Panda!!!!!
.... I don't know.... I've been saying random things like that....
Doesn't make sense to me either, so I know and understand your confusion....
Welcome to "My Life In Writing"...
Haha, had to throw that in there...
Okay... Back to the topic at hand!
...
I'm gonna be real with you guys, as I hope I always am.
I had to scroll back up to where I left off the point of what I was getting to so I would know what I was saying....
shakes head in pure self-disgust
....
Okay, sorry.
My phone started dying, so I had to run into my room to charge it.
I'm sitting on my now deflated mattress that has served as my bed the last little while.
I think I pulled the cork last night sometime or another.
But, since I've managed to situate all my things I "need" around this sorry excuse of a sleeping spot, and I have yet to move it all back upon my loft bed, I haven't changed my "place of operation".
My left hand has been (and still is) broken, the explanation of why I've been on the floor...
No one deserves to be make a mockery or spectacle because of anything that pertains to THEIR PERSONAL LIVES AND THE PLACEMENT OR POSITION THEY HOLD THIS WORLD'S TWISTED GAME OF WAITING FOR THE ONCOMING YET UNCERTAIN FUTURE.
We all believe something, right?
Whether it's a Christianity based personal lord and savior, the great and wise Buddha and the gift of reincarnation, the life that awaits all of the Muslim faith that worship Allah, the spiritually channeled lives of those who are within the covens known as Wiccan's, or that there is only science and the spiritual and religious do not exist at all, and have no place in the lives of atheists.
It doesn't matter who you are, or what you believe, or even why.
It's your right, and that makes whatever you believe more true than any other knowledge, fact, or explanation that this life can give.
Some people love to push their beliefs and ways of life on others.
Unprovoked and unsolicited.
They will come at you like a fully-loaded machine gun with scriptures and their own stories and why they believe what they do... And those being bombarded by this onslaught of unwanted advice are standing there... Wondering why in the world you're throwing all this in their faces, when they've never said a word against what you believe, and truly never even asked what it is that it is in the first place.
Did you ever stop to think that the people who's throats you're shoving all these ways and words down may believe what they do for a reason?
Has it ever occurred to anyone that maybe the person you're talking to about your way of life just might believe their ways just as much as you believe yours?
No one believes something halfway.
If you question it at all, you have doubts.
What anyone thinks is right, is their business and their choice.
Just because you feel something is the correct form of living, doesn't mean your neighbor does.
It doesn't make any one of us wrong, either.
Why should it?
...
But, this whole election thing is depressing.
I've had several people say "well, I'm voting for Donald Trump 100% without question".
"Hillary Clinton is the only way to go."
"So and so's not gonna be any better than Obama".
"Well I think we're better off if Obama were to have another term".
Blah blah blah.
Who gives a shit?
When asked what I'm going to do, I have this to say:
I vote for us.
For humanity.
For the lives of those passed on, the lives still living out their tomorrow's, and those who will see this world at some point of the unseen future.
I want a true peace of mind.
Not some bullshit that candidates in elections spew out, just so they can gather followers that will vote for them to rule the land we live in, and more honestly, us.
I want to wake up to a day where soldiers and civilians alike can live and breathe without the threat of impending doom or the uncertainty of whether or not the person next to them will lose a body part, or if they survive the day at all.
I want a place where people can plan futures for their families, and can make a living that insures that they have the chance to live that future.
I want a land where no one is pushed aside for some stupid reasons, or even no reason at all.
I ache for a world that doesn't want to destroy its countries and create wars with one another that end with nothing but a massive body count.
A universe inspired for the good of each other, for passion to better ourselves and those to come after each and every generation that lives.
A place where hostility and hate have no jurisdiction or say in our lives.
A chance for all mankind, American and all other countries and lands occupying this earth, to be healthy, housed, and educated.
To take a breath without some news caster giving the latest on a mass school shooting or an increase in gang violence.
A world where we feel no need to conform, and a stronghold that doesn't involve young people gathering together in hopes to be a family, while creating more destruction that values and chances for a positive outcome in their futures.
A world that sees people as just that; people.
Not categorized by color, sexual identity, religious or non religious beliefs, where their heritage is based from, or anything else that leaves this world, this country, divided.
I am not sure if that's an option for this election.... And truly I don't think all that would fit on a ballot.
So.
On the day the "polls" are open and waiting for us all to put our trust down on paper, or electronically nowadays, into someone we do not know, and if met face to face, would still know nothing more than had they never laid eyes on each other, you're wondering what vote I'll be casting, or which "party" I'm supporting....
Well, that would be telling.
I have quite a bit more I'd like to talk about... But my head is really killing me..
So, if you have gotten to this point, and you see this post as a sign of my betrayal to the country that I was born and raised in..... You must have just scrolled to the bottom... Like when something has "Terms and Conditions"...
I can't tell you what to do, and I'm definitely not telling you who to vote for.
I just am putting my two cents down, into this blog, for you all to see and read.
That's it.
No more, no less.
The only thing any of us have to do in any of our lifetimes?
Is be true true to ourselves.
Easily said, but, not done, I know.
Even in a world where we are told that things have changed and people are excepted for who they are without judgement or criticism.
It's also, in the history or mankind, been told that the earth was flat.
In truth?
Maybe that's not far from the truth, either.
Not literally speaking, of course.
But, humanity seems to dwell the things that separate us.
These things are simply a figment of our imaginations.
Kinda like whoever said the world was flat.
It does pose the question how people didn't come up with electricity and the invention of as accurate as it could be GPS...
But, had those people not lived and breathed exploration, and adventure, many even dying for their hunger for discovery.... I guess there would be no need for such devices.
People.
That's all we are.
We live, we love, we laugh, we cry.
We bleed, we live, we die.
We thirst, we hunger, we seek, and if we're lucky?
We find.
We believe.
It's entirely involuntary.
We have no choice but to have a purpose.
A purpose that is ours alone.
How we live out that purpose, and the things that shape those purposes?
That's to each their own.
You can agree to disagree.
Just please, as one human to any other, try not to use the disagreements you have to try and target someone else's lives and choices.
I mean, who's to say you won't be on the receiving end of a cornering of someone who disrespects your life and the way you live it, one day.
Judgement.
Voting.
Criticism.
Choices.
Cultures.
Beliefs.
Differences.
Life.
People.
I personally HATE holidays.
But, that doesn't mean I can't wish you all happy ones.
After all, don't we all deserve to be happy?
